Beautiful portrait! I love that the child is directly looking at the viewer and not paying attention to the story being read. Great composition and balance between lights and darks.

I think this is one of your best portraits! The contrast of the shadows are very well done. The two characters are great contrasts to each other. It is not just a portrait, but a story. What will be your next subject???

Sorry - just a 2nd thought - I really like the child --- He has his own mind, his own visions and his own dreams. He will not be told what to think.

Hi,

I like how you've interpretated the light on the man's head.
He's tilted head shows that you possess good draftmanship.

Kind regards,

José
